Useful scraps were hitting dumpsters while composters down the road wanted them. So we built the app that makes the introduction. Co-founded by Sean Gallagher, a Texas Hill Country vermicompost farmer, and Christiana Rodgers, a worm farmer from San Antonio Composting Project, both trained in composting, it is built to make local handoffs fast, clear, and practical in communities across the country.

Christiana farms worms and comes from the San Antonio Composting Project, so she knows the local composting community inside and out. She leads outreach and keeps the platform grounded in what businesses and collectors actually need.

We don’t take custody of your scraps or run a hauling route. K2C gives businesses and collectors one place to find each other, claim a listing, and coordinate the handoff directly.
